Red Square

The National Historical Museum is located on the north side of Red Square. To the left you can find the Voskresenki or Iver Kajapoort. On the east side is the Cathedral of the Mother of God of Kazan and the department store GUM. In front of the Kremlin you can find the Mausoleum of Lenin, the leader of the October Revolution of 1917 and founder of the Sovjet state.
