Vasa museum

The Vasa, a war ship, capsized and sank in 1628 on his first voyage in Stockholm. Developed by the Dutch shipbuilder Henrik Hybertsson. From  Skeppsgården sailed the Vasa to Havenmond, when a huge gust of wind came along. After 1300 meters the second gust of wind came along and the ship came to lie so obliquely that it went full of water and sank to the bottom of the sea. After 333 years laying on the bottom it is now one the best preserved seventeenth century ships in the world and to see in a therefor specialy build museum in Stockholm. The Vasa is an unique treasure. Next to the ship there are different expositions about this time.
