ASPESI is an Italian clothing brand that is minimalist, sophisticated, and timeless. Founded in 1969 by Alberto Aspesi as a shirt manufacturer, over the years it has become a reference point for ready-to-wear for men and women.

In an era when the reference model in the fashion industry was the Parisian haute couture houses, the Italian ready-to-wear industry instead decided to focus on the research of materials, a new concept of elegance, and wearability, suggesting new horizons to explore.

ASPESI evolved in this scenario, distinguishing itself with a strong proposal not only of significant aesthetic value but also of wearability and functionality. By the end of the 1970s, ASPESI expanded its line, creating collections for both men and women.

ASPESI was the first to introduce the down jacket - up until then considered purely technical apparel, as an element of a more urban and versatile wardrobe. The idea was born during a chat between Alberto Aspesi and Franco Moschino, who gave his name to the jacket.
